Our Fall Retreat - September 12-14, 2025

The retreat will be held at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites 1900 Lakewood Drive, Boone, Iowa 50036.
Friday at the motel - Check-in beginning at 3 pm on Friday, September 12th.
Friday at the Reiman Gardens 1407 University Blvd, Ames, IA 50011 - You are welcome to visit the gift shop at anytime. You may tour the gardens free of charge from 5pm-6pm (Closing). Dinner is served at 6:15pm in the Speer Room at the gardens. Our opening session will be held at the gardens.
Lodging and all other events will be held at the Cobblestone Inn in Boone.
The event will end at 11:30am on Sunday, September 14th.
We are looking forward to an inspirational and joyful retreat with you. We will enjoy the beautiful Reiman Gardens, as well as the town of Boone. Ledges State Park is near-by for fellowship with God and each other. Our schedule allows for learning, laughing, and lounging!
His Masterpiece: Exploring God as Maker, not Manager - with Emily Campbell
Dr. Emily Campbell, a clinical psychologist in private practice, will lead us in scriptures that highlight how God often works through experiences and seasons to form us, not simply by rules and guidelines. Then, we will explore ways to position ourselves to be formed by His creative hands: both in times of drought and in times of plenty.
Emily earned her doctorate in psychology from Wheaton College. She is obtaining a certification in spiritual formation. She, her husband and teen-age boys attend Celebration Covenant Church in Omaha.
International Worker from Senegal
Carey, a veteran C&MA worker, will share what God is doing in Senegal. Carey is involved in medical care, discipleship, and training in orality.
